The Albums Behind the Designs

· The Band

Every design in our shop starts with something from the Abominable Putridity world. Some carry an album title in big letters; others pick up the space horror that runs through our records. Here's where they come from.

Which album is The Anomalies of Artificial Origin?

Our second album, from 2012. It came out on Brutal Bands and was remixed and remastered for a 2015 reissue. Our The Anomalies of Artificial Origin design puts the album title in wide blue capitals on the back, under an ice-blue logo, with a looming figure in a glowing blue chamber on the front.

And Parasitic Metamorphosis Manifestation?

Our third album, from 2021, on Inherited Suffering Records. It opens with an instrumental, Transcending Into Orbital Solitude, and includes the single Supreme Void. Two of our designs carry its title on the back: Parasitic Metamorphosis Manifestation, with a skull-faced figure and a burning alien battlefield on the front, and Parasitic Metamorphosis Gunner, with an armoured figure and a heavy gun.

Why so many astronauts?

Science fiction is part of our world. Alongside gore and horror, our lyrics and artwork keep returning to space, alien life and bodies fused with machines. That's where Interstellar Proliferation, Lost Astronaut, Skeleton Astronaut and Broken Visor come from.

What is Moscow Style Sickness?

A nod to home. We formed in Moscow in 2003, and this two-sided design spells MOSCOW STYLE SICKNESS across the back in big jagged letters.

Just the logo, please

Red Logo is the tangled wordmark on its own, in blood red. Several two-sided designs keep the front to the logo too, in green, violet or gold, and save the full artwork for the back.
